This highly architectural building sits along the seafront of a small seaside town south of Barcelona. It contains around sixty apartments, all of which enjoy an unbroken sea view. The ground floor, opened up by colossal V-shaped piles, houses the car park, a few communal rooms, and the entrance hall. The angled arrangement of the apartments and their walkway access gives this edifice an astonishing plasticity, combining a cantilevered structure, cement screens, textured concrete, and terracotta rendering. One of the rare examples of scholarly architecture encountered on our journey.
