Contortionist restaurant

This construction is based on a rocky spur bordering the port of Sitges. The car park is situated at the same level as the feeder road. The restaurant is located two levels further down, backing onto the bearing wall of the car park and following, as it does, the curve of the rock. It is accessible via a set of steps which run along the bearing wall and are grafted onto the pier of the restaurant. The roof of the building serves as a dance floor, and a second terrace, on the same level as the dining room, has been created against the rock. Under the building, the rock merges with the stony backfill.
